The Parrish Park Trailhead, a vital eastern gateway to the East Central Regional Rail Trail and part of the larger Florida Coast-to-Coast Trail, has officially re-opened to the public.
Located at 1 A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway in Titusville, this popular spot has undergone significant renovations, as detailed in a recent Brevard County government press release.

The improvements aim to enhance accessibility and user experience for both local residents and visitors enjoying Titusville’s natural beauty. One of the key additions is the trailhead parking with an ADA access ramp and stairs to the beach. This new feature provides convenient access to the shoreline for launching non-motorized vessels such as kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, kite surfing, and rafts.
Further upgrades include an improved stormwater system with an underground arch system, designed to ensure the area’s resilience. Additional parking and sidewalks for both beach and trail access have been added, all illuminated with modern LED lighting.

For safety and structural integrity, protective railing and a bollard wall are now in place. The trailhead’s environment has also been enhanced with new landscaping featuring uplighted palm trees, creating a more inviting atmosphere.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the Parrish Park Trailhead is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, at 10:00 AM, and the public is invited to attend.
The Parrish Park Trailhead serves as a crucial point for accessing the East Central Regional Rail Trail, which is Brevard County’s segment of the extensive Florida Coast-to-Coast Trail.
