A local man learned the hard way that the fast lane is no place for crime after being arrested on multiple charges, including driving with a suspended license, during a traffic stop on Highway 1 in Titusville.
According to Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey’s Wednesday’s Words of Wisdom, the incident occurred when Deputy Darien Fedro was conducting traffic enforcement early Tuesday morning.

Deputy Fedro clocked an orange motorcycle traveling at 91 mph in a 55-mph zone.
The motorcyclist, identified as Kyle Falwell, attempted to slow down upon noticing the deputy but was stopped shortly after. When questioned, Falwell admitted that his driver’s license was suspended and that he did not have a motorcycle endorsement.
A records check revealed that Falwell had two previous convictions for driving with a suspended license.
Falwell was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended (second or subsequent offense) and operating a motorcycle without proper endorsement.
He was transported to the Brevard County Jail, nicknamed “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge,” with bond set at $1,000.
Sheriff Ivey used the incident to remind residents of Brevard County’s zero-tolerance policy for breaking the law. “Folks, it’s pretty simple—whether it’s speeding, drugs, or any other law you break, we have zero tolerance for all of it,” Ivey said.
Deputy Fedro’s quick action serves as a reminder to drivers to follow traffic laws and prioritize safety.
Sheriff Ivey concluded his statement with words of caution: “Even when it’s dark outside and you’re going almost twice the speed limit…WE CAN STILL SEE YOU!”
