Combine the therapeutic effects of animals and creativity for one rejuvenating event

Mims, FL – Sawgrass Acres Goat Rescue, located in Mims, FL is introducing a new event, Original Painting with Goats. This unique event provides guests with the opportunity to combine the therapeutic effects of animal bonding and painting.
Sawgrass Acres has hosted several goat yoga events over the past 4 years and is excited to offer this latest event to take goat-bonding to new, creative heights. Original Painting with Goats will feature local artists instructing participants to paint one of Sawgrass Acres rescued goats in the relaxing environment of owner, Christiane Dotson’s 4-acre property in Mims, FL. The farm is centrally located in close distance to Cape Canaveral, Orlando, and New Smyrna Beach.
Following the instructor-led painting session, participants will join the goats for a “goat-together” social hour to hold, pat, snap pictures, and feed goat treats. Picture taking, laughing, and goat cuddling are all highly encouraged.

Christiane and her husband have been rescuing goats since 2017, providing them with a loving home. They have hosted countless goat yoga classes with proceeds supporting the rescue. “All of our goats are rescues and your support helps us to give these precious animals everything they need and deserve. Not to mention how much they love to see and interact with people,” said Dawson.
