Among its 152 rooms, the space-themed, five-floor hotel features the following amenities:

  • 14 extended, one-bedroom guest suites
  • Eight ground floor walkout rooms – four will have fire pits
  • Outdoor resort-style pool
  • Ground floor bistro and bar with outdoor seating
  • 700-square-foot meeting room
  • Charging stations for electric vehicles
  • Rooftop deck with a bar and restaurant dubbed The Space Bar

The hotel will also feature a large outdoor resort-style pool with a children’s section, cabanas and a bar; a ground-floor Bistro with a bar and outdoor seating that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as Starbucks; a 700-square-foot meeting room; and charging stations for electric cars.

The signature feature will be a rooftop deck with a bar and restaurant called The Space Bar, which will offer an “elevated” evening experience with views of the Indian River, which is part of the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway, and Merritt Island and Kennedy Space Center.

The hotel will be the closest to the space center’s launch complexes, 39A and 39B, with the rooftop bar offering unobstructed views.

“The Space Bar will offer a unique experience for local residents, visitors who work in the aerospace industry along with space enthusiasts of all ages,” said Wayne Soard, general manager of the hotel for Delaware North, the company developing the hotel.

“It’s going to offer once-in-a-lifetime views of rocket launches and also be a fun night out in a cool setting for corporate and association retreats, government meetings, weddings and other group events.”

Delaware North will serve a broad menu of casual yet chef-driven fare at The Space Bar, including salads, bowls, flatbreads, specialty desserts and space-inspired cocktails.

The hotel will be the first in Florida for Delaware North, which operates lodging properties across the U.S. and Australia.

Online booking of the hotel is available now, starting for the month of May and moving forward. As the project moves closer to completion, rooms near the opening day will start to become available as well.

Once completed, the Courtyard Titusville Kennedy Space Center will support about 50 part and full-time jobs. A career fair is scheduled for January 13 and 14 at the American Police Hall of Fame down the road from the hotel:

  • January 13 – 2 – 6 p.m.
  • January 14 – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
