A double homicide investigation is underway after two men were found deceased in a parking area along the 200 block of Knox McRae Drive on Monday, July 3, 2023, according to Titusville Police Department.

Law enforcement officers responded to the scene at approximately 2:50 PM, following a flurry of 911 calls reporting shots fired and multiple victims located in and near a parked vehicle within an apartment complex’s parking area.

Upon arrival, officers discovered one victim just outside the vehicle, and a second inside. Both men, whose identities are currently being withheld, had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The suspect or suspects involved in the incident had fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

Detective units from the Titusville Police Department quickly secured the crime scene and have since been diligently investigating the incident, trying to piece together the events that led to the shocking double homicide.

As this remains an active investigation, the Titusville Police Department could not provide further details. More information will be provided as the investigation progresses and authorities hope that with the public’s help, they will swiftly bring the perpetrator(s) to justice.
