I want to be straight about something: free to read doesn’t mean free to produce.

Every story takes time — getting to the meeting, verifying the facts, writing it up, publishing it. Right now that’s mostly one person, and there’s a limit to what that covers across Titusville, Mims, and Scottsmoor. Stories fall through the cracks. Council votes nobody follows up on. Road projects nobody tracks. The small stuff that actually affects your street.

Where the money goes
None of it goes to Facebook. Every dollar comes directly through our website, processed securely through Stripe, and stays right here in North Brevard:

• It hires local people. The goal is part-time Titusville residents who attend the meetings, verify the facts, and follow through after the announcement fades. The math is simple: if 48 neighbors commit to $25 a month, that funds one part-time local reporter for a full year.
• It keeps the news free for everyone. This is the whole point — there will never be a paywall. Your support is what makes it possible for a neighbor who can’t pay to still get the news.
• It builds what’s next. Deeper meeting coverage through October, and the first print issue of the TitusvillePaper in November.
