The Titusville Police Department SWAT Unit and Special Investigations Section executed a search warrant at a South Park Avenue apartment on August 19, 2026. The raid concluded a month-long undercover investigation into the sale of crack cocaine at the Park Villas apartment complex.
According to court documents, investigators used a confidential source to make multiple controlled purchases of crack cocaine from the residence throughout July 2026. The illicit drug sales were based out of 1021 South Park Avenue, Apartment 201.
Authorities filed arrest warrants for two individuals directly connected to the drug sales:
- Henry Lee Dozier: Dozier faces three counts of sale of cocaine and three counts of possession of cocaine. Police reported that Dozier sold crack cocaine to a confidential source on July 9, July 14, and July 23, 2026.
- Amy Lee Thomas: Thomas faces one count of sale of cocaine and one count of possession of cocaine. Court documents state Thomas retrieved crack cocaine from Apartment 201 and sold it to a confidential source on July 8, 2026.
During the execution of the search warrant on Wednesday morning, officers also arrested 21-year-old Samaria Rhondaj’a Simmons at the scene. Simmons drove an electric scooter past marked police vehicles and approached the front door of the targeted apartment.
Simmons ignored lawful commands from officers to stop and stated “NO” when told not to move toward the apartment. She continued to pull away as two Titusville Police officers attempted to detain her. Simmons was arrested for resisting a law enforcement officer without violence and transported to the Brevard County Jail.
