Fighter planes, rescue helicopters, and stunt pilots will fill the skies over Cocoa Beach this Saturday and Sunday when the Air Dot Com airshow returns to the sandy shores along the Space Coast. Last held in here 2023, the event promises to be a big day out on the beach, and one that is family-friendly and affordable. Tickets are on sale on the Air Dot Show website with some discounts still remaining.

Unlike traditional airshows held at airfields, this beachfront event allows families, tourists, and locals to enjoy the show while relaxing by the ocean, and if they get too warm, the surf and cooling off is only steps away.

Where

The event will be held at Lori Wilson Park, not far from downtown Cocoa Beach, and is expected to start at noon and run to roughly 3:30 PM. Seating areas will open around 10 AM, giving spectators time to settle in, splash on some sunscreen and perhaps go for a quick dip in surf before the show begins.

For those so equipped, viewing the show by boat will be allowed. The Air Dot Show website has specific information regarding the areas boats are allowed, and most importantly where they are excluded for safety reasons.

Performers

Current-era aircraft like the F22 and the E/A 18 will be there as will a KC-135 and C-17 — huge aircraft whose close flying will surely thrill the crowd in attendance.

Saturday’s order of events has been announced:

  • Opening Ceremonies
  • Invocation
  • National Anthem
  • Flag Jump – REMAX Parachute Team
  • Navy E/A-18 Growler Demo
  • USAFR 920th Rescue Wing Combat Search and Rescue Demo
  • Air Force C-17 Globemaster III Demo Team
  • Air Force KC-135 Demo Team
  • John Black (stunt pilot)
  • REMAX Parachute Team Full Jump
  • Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team
  • Air Force Heritage Flight

Depending on military departures, Sunday’s version will be close to Saturday’s. Check the Air Dot Show website for more information.
