In a strategic move to expand its footprint and diversify its product offerings, Starling Automotive Group announced last week that it has acquired three iconic dealerships in Titusville: Ron Norris Ford, Ron Norris Honda, and Ron Norris Buick GMC.

The acquisition marks a significant milestone for both companies and solidifies Starling Automotive’s position as a major player in the Central Florida automotive market.

Starling Automotive President, Alan Starling, described the acquisition as “a perfect fit for our company.” By adding the Norris dealerships to its portfolio, Starling Automotive aims to enhance its presence in the region by introducing a broader range of vehicles. Previously, Starling primarily operated GM dealerships, but this strategic move allows them to incorporate Ford and Honda models into their product mix.

The acquisitions were successfully completed on April 16, with financial terms remaining confidential. The deal underscores Starling Automotive’s commitment to growth and its confidence in the local market.

The Norris dealerships have a storied history in the area, dating back to 1965, and have been run by three generations of the Norris family. Alan Starling expressed admiration for their rich legacy and pledged to continue their tradition of exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

“Our goal,” he emphasized, “is to offer our guests exceptional sales and service experiences, with an unwavering focus on quality, professionalism, and integrity.”

Starling’s decision to acquire the Norris dealerships was influenced by his optimism about the North Brevard County area’s future. The expanding commercial space industry and other economic developments make this region particularly promising. Starling believes that the Titusville dealerships will play a pivotal role in the community’s growth.

Starling Automotive Group, which has been a fixture in Central Florida since 1958, boasts an impressive track record. Their dealerships consistently average around 1,000 vehicle sales per month. With the addition of the Titusville dealerships, Starling projects an increase of 250 to 300 vehicles per month. To meet this demand, the company plans to retain former Norris employees and hire approximately 20 new staff members in Titusville over the next year.

As part of the transition, the Norris dealerships will adopt the Starling name. Customers can expect the same commitment to excellence and personalized service under the new branding.

The Starling family’s legacy continues with the third generation taking leadership roles within the business. Walker Starling will serve as president of the Starling Ford and Starling Honda dealerships in Titusville, while Andrew Starling will lead Starling Buick GMC of Titusville. Another son, Jack Starling, oversees three dealerships in other counties.

With this strategic acquisition, Starling Automotive Group reinforces its position as a driving force in the Florida automotive landscape, combining tradition, innovation, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
