Titusville Open House on Resiliency Stewardship

The City of Titusville is hosting its Open House on Resiliency Stewardship, scheduled for Monday, April 24, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Titusville City Hall.

This event aims to educate the community on how the City is incorporating resilience into its decision-making process and planning for a stronger, more adaptable future.

The Open House is designed to engage various members of the Titusville community, including homeowners’ association (HOA) residents, homeowners in flood zones, realtors, business leaders, and others interested in learning about the City’s resiliency initiatives.

The interactive event will provide valuable information and resources to attendees, helping them understand how the City is addressing environmental and community challenges.

The Open House will bring together representatives from various City departments, such as the Planning/GIS Department, Public Works Department, Fire Department, and Floodplain Administrators. These experts will be available to answer questions and discuss ongoing initiatives in their respective areas.

In addition, the City has invited representatives from key partner organizations, including the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council, UF IFAS Brevard Extension, FDEP Cleaning Boating Program, and FDEP Aquatic Preserve.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about these organizations’ roles in supporting the City’s resiliency efforts and explore potential collaboration opportunities.

The City of Titusville’s Open House on Resiliency Stewardship is an excellent opportunity for the community to learn about the City’s commitment to incorporating resiliency into its decision-making process.
