Brevard Storm Debris Removal Operations to Begin on Wednesday, Oct. 5

Brevard County is going to initiate storm debris recovery and removal operations in unincorporated Brevard County and participating municipalities starting Wednesday, Oct. 5.

For County residents, this will be a single-pass debris cleanup operation that concentrates on vegetative material.

Please do not bag your material, place it near trees or mail boxes, over water meters, or under overhead wires.

If your vegetative material can fit into containers that you normally use to have yard waste collected weekly, we urge you to containerize your vegetative waste to ensure a pickup with less wait time.

Talk of Titusville will always be free to access.

We ask that Brevard County residents have patience, as the majority of resources are engaged in operations in areas that have suffered more damage than Brevard.

For residents who live in a municipality, please contact your local government for information on debris pickup.

Waste Management or other collectors will continue to collect garbage, recycling, and containerized yard waste. County contractors will be collecting vegetative waste in piles.
