MIMS, FL. — Due to a water main break and subsequent emergency repairs near 2200 Turpentine Road in the Mims water service, Brevard County Utility Services is issuing a Precautionary Boil Water Notice to the following residents of the Mims water service area:

• All of Lee Road
• All of Tuscany Drive
• All of Napoli Way
• All of Fawn Lake Boulevard

• All of Scrubjay Court

As a precaution, Brevard County Utility Services advises that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
