The Titusville Police Department took home five trophies at the 16th Annual Central Florida Law Enforcement Car Show on Saturday, January 22nd.

This event, held at the Oviedo Mall each year, helps raise funds for youth programs and features over a hundred entries in a variety of categories.

Titusville’s award winning 1949 Ford police sedan won two awards; First Place for “Classic Car”, and a trophy from the Seminole County Sheriff for “Best Overall”.

TPD also won for “Best of Show” in both the Marked Patrol Car and Unmarked Patrol Car categories for the newly designed 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe’s.

TPD’s undercover vehicle design, a 2022 Ford Explorer Interceptor, was also awarded “Best in Show” for its category.

“It’s great to participate in this event because it helps support community outreach programs throughout Central Florida”, said Titusville’s Deputy Chief Todd Hutchinson. “The men & woman of our department take great pride in having the best equipped vehicles as possible and it shows”, added Hutchinson.

Sponsors of the event include Cops N’ Cars for Kids, and the Optimist Club of Oviedo and Winter Springs.
