UPDATE: Pedestrian hit by vehicle seriously injured, while walking along US1

A pedestrian was struck by a car and later died while walking northbound on South Washington Avenue (US1) at approximately 4:30 AM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021

Titusville Police say the male was walking in the northbound lane of US1 just north of the exit ramp for State Road 405. The male was struck from behind by a 2015 red Toyota Corolla driven by Alexandra F. Herbert, 20, of Rockledge.

The male was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries, and later died as a result of his injuries.
