Brevard County Clerk of Courts Rachel Sadoff has scheduled a two-day job fair to fill positions in her office.

Sadoff said she is looking to fill positions as customer service clerks, court clerks, data entry clerks and recording clerks, as well as other positions.

The job fair will be held:

  • 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4 in the Brevard Room, 518 S. Palm Ave., Titusville.
  • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Harry T. & Harriette V. Moore Justice Center, 2825 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera.

Tyler Winik, director of organizational development and public affairs for the clerk of courts office, said the jobs to be filled pay $10 to $15 an hour, depending on the job title and the applicant’s level of experience.

Job benefits include health, dental and vision insurance; a retirement plan through the Florida Retirement System; paid holidays and personal leave; free life insurance; and an available fitness plan.

The department currently has about 275 employees, and is “looking for talent” to fill current and future openings, Winik said.

“We are excited to host this event to fill critical positions in our mission to serve our constituents,” Sadoff said in announcing the job fair. “We look forward to welcoming more dedicated faces to our team, as we continue the great service our customers have come to expect from us.”

Interested candidates can attend either date, depending on their availability, and should dress in business casual attire. There are no appointments, and interested applicants can show up when they wish during the designated time frames.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, all attendees must wear a mask.

Winik said representatives from various clerk of courts departments will be at the job fair to tell applicants about the various positions.

“Our office is excited to be able to host its inaugural job fair, albeit with precautions in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” Winik said. “The clerk is enthusiastic about the talent here on the Space Coast, and she looks forward to being able to help some of our neighbors get back to work during this unprecedented time.”
