SpaceX is targeting Thursday, December 17 for launch of NROL-108 mission for the National Reconnaissance Office, which will launch from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center.

The three-hour launch window opens at 9:00am EST and a backup launch opportunity is available on Friday, December 18 with a three-hour launch window opening at 9:00am EST

Following stage separation, SpaceX will land Falcon 9’s first stage at SpaceX’s Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. SpaceX has landed 69 Falcon 9 first stages previously.

There is the possibility that residents of Brevard, Orange, Osceola, Indian River, Seminole, and Volusia counties may hear one or more sonic booms during the landing attempt. Residents of Brevard County are most likely to hear one or more sonic boom, although what residents experience will depend on weather conditions and other factors.
