Next week, Firehouse Subs Franchisees Britt and Jeff Diaz will celebrate three years on Thursday, December 3 since opening their Titusville restaurant and serving hot and hearty subs to their community.
“We’re excited to celebrate our three-year anniversary with a deal for one of our most popular subs,” said Britt. “Sharing our hot and hearty subs with the Titusville community and working with the Foundation to support first responders continues to bring us great fulfillment.”
A portion of every sale at any Firehouse Subs in the U.S. benefits the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, allowing the Foundation to achieve its mission of providing lifesaving equipment, funding and education to first responders and public safety organizations across the country.
In May of 2018, Titusville Fire & Emergency Services received “Jaws of Life”, extrication equipment valued at more than $30,000 from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The awarded equipment replaced obsolete tools, improving the department’s life-saving capabilities for victims in motor vehicle accidents by allowing first responders to cut through materials used in modern manufacturing and quickly reach victims in need of medical attention.
Then in September of this year, the Diaz’s and the Firehouse Sub Public Safety Foundation awarded the Titusville Fire Department AeroClave RDS 3110 Decontaminating System, which was made possible through the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation grant program.
‘While more than $51 million has been given and 4,702 grants fulfilled since 2005, we are the first department awarded this type of equipment in the history of the Foundation’ said Titusville Fire Department,” said Titusville Fire officials.

The AeroClave process provides consistent, reliable delivery of the right amount of disinfectant, decontaminating to OSHA and NFPA specifications every time.
Ultimately, this reduces staff and patient exposure to dangerous pathogens and improves unit turn-around time.
“We are extremely grateful to the Foundation, Britt and Jeff Diaz, our local Firehouse Subs Titus Landing franchisees, but importantly our friends, and to the public who provide the funding through eating at Firehouse Subs,” said Titusville Fire officials
“Many wonder if the money stays local when you ’round up,’ this is proof positive that it does. While the grant awarded was more than $16,000, having the ability, given our current environment, to decontaminate rooms, equipment and apparatus are priceless.”
To celebrate, the husband and wife duo are offering guests a week-long deal of a $4.99 medium Firehouse Meatball sub from Monday, November 30 through Sunday, December 6.
The Firehouse Meatball is a hot specialty sub made with Italian meatballs, melted provolone, zesty marinara, and Italian seasonings served on top of a perfectly toasted roll. Guests can ask for it “Sweet & Spicy” and to add Captain Sorensen’s® Datil Pepper Hot Sauce and red pepper flakes. The restaurant offers guests online ordering through the Firehouse Subs app and website, takeout, delivery, as well as the Rapid Rescue rack for quick contactless pickup.
The Diazs also own and operate Firehouse Subs restaurants in Indian Harbour Beach and Rockledge.
