At approximately 7:40 PM on Sunday, November 1, 2020, Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a vehicle and a pedestrian near the intersection of South Hopkins Avenue and Garden Street.

The preliminary investigation revealed an adult female stepped into the roadway and was struck by a black 2016 Nissan Frontier truck, traveling southbound on South Hopkins Avenue, driven by a 17-year-old licensed driver.

 
The victim was transported to a local hospital and was pronounced deceased at 8:20 PM. 

There were no other injuries. 

There are no charges at this time. 

This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department. Further details will be released upon the investigation’s conclusion.
