Titusville Park Construction Update

Rotary Parkestimated completion: May 31, 2021

Project began construction on 8/24/2020 and will require 240 days for completion. The project includes a rock revetment for shoreline repair and protection.

The Rotary Park project also includes the removal of the existing damaged dock and the construction of a new dock and repair/replacement of the parking area.

Space View Parkestimated completion: March 20, 2021

Project construction is scheduled to begin 9/28/2020 and will require 180 days for completion. The project includes the removal of existing damaged docks and the construction of a new dock.

The Space View Park project also includes repair/replacement of the seawall and the sidewalk and pavers. The Gemini portion on the North end of the park will receive a rock revetment for shoreline repair and protection and repair/replacement of planters and benches.

Parrish Park Update – break ground est. in august 2021

This project involves developing a trailhead along the Florida Coast-to-Coast Trail at the Parrish Park site. The proposed trailhead will include the design of a linear parking lot, sidewalks, connections to the Coast-to-Coast Trail, lighting, landscaping, and identify locations for future site amenities. The project limits are along SR 406 from approximately the east end of the A. Max Brewer bridge to the entrance of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. This meeting is to notify the public of the project and obtain input on the future improvements.

This project is being funding by FHWA – Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division, Florida Department of Transportation, and the Brevard County Parks and Recreation. There will a February meeting for the next step in the process for this new construction of Parrish Park
