“Operation Knockdown Sales” has led to the arrest of 28 suspected drug dealers, who were in possession of multiple illegal drugs and were attempting to sell the drugs within the city limits of Titusville.
The recent two-month-long proactive drug enforcement detail, code name “Operation Knockdown Sales”, executed a focused agency-wide investigation, which resulted in the arrests of local drug dealers, some of which were previously convicted of drug-related offenses.
The operation was led by an intense specialized response police unit concentrated on getting drug dealers off the city streets via undercover vice intelligence and the monitoring of open-air drug transactions.
The 28 arrested suspects were found to be either manufacturing and distributing cocaine, heroin and/or controlled prescription medication throughout the city.
All 28 suspects were booked into the Brevard County Jail.
“Drug dealers have no place in our city!”, said Titusville Police Special Investigation Sergeant Troy Barbour. “We will continue this anti-drug operative to ensure the safety of our community members and take drugs off the streets of Titusville”, added Barbour.
