A tragic pedestrian accident occurred on Thursday evening, October 24th, 2024, in Titusville, Florida, claiming the life of a local resident.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 7:29 PM on East Colonial Drive near 3rd Street North.
A 58-year-old man from Titusville was tragically struck by a 2003 Honda Pilot as he was crossing the roadway outside of a designated crosswalk.
The impact of the collision proved fatal for the pedestrian. The driver and passenger of the Honda Pilot were not injured and remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities.
