The Brevard County Board of County Commissioners has confirmed Jim Stables as Brevard County’s new Fire Chief, selecting a familiar face to lead one of the county’s largest public safety agencies. Stables steps into the role following the retirement of former Fire Chief Patrick Voltaire, who had led Brevard County Fire Rescue (BCFR) since 2022.
