Titusville residents and visitors preparing to witness tomorrow’s Falcon 9 crewed launch to the International Space Station should be aware of a temporary closure at the visitor contact station, significant road impacts, and an increased police presence.
The launch is scheduled for 12:09 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Visitor Center Closure and NASA Road Closures
The visitor contact station will be closed tomorrow morning in preparation for the launch. It is expected to reopen after the launch or in the event of a scrub.
NASA will be implementing road closures to manage traffic and ensure public safety during launch operations. Expect the following:
- The bridge at Haulover Canal will be raised.
- The road at the Max Brewer Parkway will be closed.
These closures typically occur two hours before launch time or when designated beach parking areas reach capacity, whichever comes first. Given the 12:09 PM launch, visitors should plan for these closures to be in effect by late morning.
Titusville Police Department’s Message: Drive Safe!
