A Titusville woman was killed and several children injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 southbound near mile marker 188 in Brevard County on Monday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:25 PM on May 26, 2025, when a 2003 Ford F-350 pickup truck traveling in the center lane suffered a front left tire blowout.
The driver, a 58-year-old man from Babylon, New York, lost control, veered into the inside lane, and struck a 2023 Honda Odyssey minivan driven by a 32-year-old woman from Titusville.
The impact forced both vehicles off the roadway and into the guardrail, with the Odyssey sustaining further damage as its front end collided with the barrier.
The driver of the Odyssey was pronounced dead at the scene. An 8-month-old female passenger suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital. Two other passengers, boys aged 3 and 4, were transported to the same hospital with minor injuries.
Another adult female passenger from Titusville also sustained serious injuries. All occupants of the Odyssey were properly restrained at the time of the crash.
The driver and passenger of the Ford F-350 were not injured and remained at the scene. The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash
