A fatal motorcycle accident occurred Friday evening on I-95 northbound at mile marker 213, north of State Road 407. The crash claimed the life of a 63-year-old woman from Titusville.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the incident took place at approximately 5:11 PM.

The rider, operating a 2008 Honda motorcycle, lost control of the vehicle and veered off the roadway into the median. She was ejected from the motorcycle as a result of the crash.

Emergency responders transported the rider to Parrish Medical Center, where she was later pronounced deceased.

Authorities confirmed that she was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Her next of kin have been notified.

The crash investigator assigned to the case is Trooper Provencher. The investigation remains ongoing, with no further details released at this time.
