A suspect who fled from Titusville police early Monday morning was involved in a high-speed chase and subsequent crash in downtown Orlando, injuring three people.

The incident began in Titusville around 4 a.m., when police responded to a report of an aggravated assault with a weapon at the Circle K on Cheney Highway.

According to a Facebook post by Titusville Crime News, a male suspect in a white Buick allegedly brandished a weapon at a person before fleeing westbound on Cheney Highway. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspect evaded police at speeds over 100mph, leading to an ongoing search.

Shortly before 6 a.m., Orange County deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s Buick near Orange Avenue and Gore Street in Orlando. The driver refused to stop, initiating another high-speed pursuit. Moments later, the suspect crashed into two vehicles near Orange Avenue and Lucerne Circle, causing a violent rollover.

The suspect, along with two other drivers involved in the crash, was transported to a hospital with injuries. Authorities have not yet released their conditions or identities.

The crash caused significant traffic delays in downtown Orlando as emergency responders worked to clear the scene. Orange County deputies and Titusville Police are continuing their investigations into the aggravated assault and the subsequent events leading to the crash.

Law enforcement is urging anyone with additional information about the case to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office or the Titusville Police Department.
