Javone Dontryl Williams, 26, from Palm Bay, has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred on September 21 on Ellis Circle in Titusville.
Williams, a convicted felon, faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm in public, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to the Titusville Police Department.
The arrest followed an investigation by Titusville Police, who were called to the scene after shots were fired outside a residence on Ellis Circle.

Witnesses at the scene provided key information, including text messages between the victim, Jamiah S. Thompson, and a woman identified as Monajia S. Williams.
The messages revealed that Monajia had arrived at Thompson’s residence to instigate a physical altercation.
Williams accompanied Monajia to the scene, riding a scooter. After Monajia parked her white Honda Accord on Alpine Road, she messaged Thompson to come outside.
When several individuals exited the residence, witnesses say Javone Williams placed his scooter in the trunk of the vehicle, retrieved a firearm, and fired approximately 10 shots toward the home.
The incident was captured on residential security cameras, and witness testimonies corroborated this account.
Following the shooting, Monajia and Javone fled in the Honda Accord, later abandoning the vehicle at Timber Trace Apartments in Titusville. Monajia was located by police and provided a statement, revealing that she had called Javone after an altercation with another woman and that they had fled the scene following the shooting.
Williams, who has nine prior felony convictions and was on probation at the time of the incident, was arrested at his residence in Palm Bay. He is facing charges that include aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an unoccupied dwelling, and violation of probation.
Detective Angel Roldan, who led the investigation, stated that Williams’ arrest was the result of thorough witness testimony and video evidence. Williams is currently in custody, awaiting further legal proceedings.
