Titusville Police Detectives are actively investigating the tragic shooting death of a local resident.

Zaavan G. Brown, 32, was found deceased inside an apartment in the 600 block of Timber Trace Lane on Friday, March 15, 2024.

The incident unfolded around 9 PM when authorities received a distressing 911 call reporting a gunshot victim at the aforementioned location.

Responding promptly, law enforcement arrived at the scene to discover Brown with a fatal gunshot wound.

Despite immediate efforts, Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. Thankfully, there were no additional injuries reported in connection with the incident.

As the investigation progresses, Titusville Police urge anyone with pertinent information to come forward and assist in the ongoing inquiry. Further details will be disclosed upon the conclusion of the investigation.
