Detectives from the Titusville Police Department are actively investigating a shooting incident involving two juveniles that took place on Saturday, December 9, 2023.

At approximately 9:47 AM, police officers were dispatched to a residence on the 1100 block of 4th Avenue following reports of a juvenile having been shot. The preliminary findings of the investigation suggest that the shooting was accidental.

Emergency medical services promptly responded to the scene, where they provided necessary care to the victim. The injured juvenile was then transported to a local hospital, suffering from serious injuries that have been deemed non-life-threatening.
