The holiday season was made extra special for over 400 local seniors in Brevard County, thanks to the efforts of Brevard County TRIAD and Titusville Police Department’s North Brevard Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (SALT) volunteers.

Through the “Senior Santa” program, these volunteers collected and delivered gifts donated by the community which were tailored to each senior’s individual wish.

Senior Santa coordinator Angela Spangler expressed her appreciation for this long-standing tradition saying, “Christmas is the season of giving and for nearly 23 years, Titusville seniors were surprised with the delivery of gifts donated by the community.”

Wishing ornaments with each senior’s individual wish were available at both Parrish Senior Solution Center as well as Titusville Police Department where all donations were packaged before being delivered throughout December.
