Brevard County Sheriffs Office responded to a crash involving a motorcycle around 1am Sunday morning near US1 and Sunset Avenue in South Titusville.

Officials say a the motorcyclist was exiting a parking lot onto US1 when another vehicle struck the motorcyclist and his passenger, both being thrown from the motorcycle.

A 65-year-old male from Palm Bay was transported to Parrish Medical Center and later pronounced deceased, officials stated in a press release.

The motorcycles passenger, a 48-year-old female from Palm Bay, was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with critical injuries.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the motorcycle, a 35-year-old male from Titusville, was not injured and remained on scene.

Florida Highway Patrol says this crash remains under investigation
