Detectives Investigating Drive-By Shooting

TPD Press Release – Titusville Police are investigating the shooting of a local man at approximately 2:45 PM on Friday, March 4, 2022.

Officers responded to 911 reports of shots fired in the area of Hopkins Avenue and Roosevelt Street. 

The preliminary investigation revealed the adult male victim and another man were walking on the east side of Hopkins Avenue, when the suspect(s), driving an unidentified vehicle traveling northbound on Hopkins Avenue, fired several gun shots in their direction. 

The adult male victim, located near the initial shooting crime scene with an apparent gunshot wound, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary evidence has revealed this incident was not random.   

This is an active ongoing investigation and more details will be released.
