TPD Press Release:

At approximately 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021, Titusville Police Officers responded to a report of a plane crash at the Space Coast Regional Airport located at 355 Golden Knights Boulevard.

The preliminary investigation revealed a small experimental style airplane crashed near the runway and became engulfed in flames.

The adult male pilot, who was the sole occupant, was deceased at the scene.

The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified and Titusville Police are assisting with the investigation.

There were no other injuries.

This crash remains under investigation and further details will be released upon its conclusion.
