Orlando Health is establishing a partnership to boost outpatient care for children in Brevard County.

The nonprofit health system’s Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children will operate an outpatient clinic at The Children’s Center at 5650 S. Washington Ave. in Titusville. The center, operated by Titusville-based nonprofit health system Parrish Healthcare, provides services connected to health, education and social programs for children and their families.

Orlando Health services offered at the center will include child cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, urology, neurology and pulmonology.

Orlando Health spokeswoman Alayna Curry told Orlando Business Journal the health system will take over existing space vacated by another health system. “We plan to have the office ready to see patients later this month.”

The company has listed positions for two certified medical assistants, Curry added.

Representatives with Parrish Health were not available for comment. The organization has four positions for the center currently listed on its jobs website.

The Titusville location would be the first for Orlando Health in that area. In Brevard County, the company has an office with several pediatric specialties in Melbourne at 2290 W. Eau Gallie Boulevard, Suite 205A.

In addition to the outpatient space, Orlando Health-employed pediatric doctors will help provide in-hospital care to babies born at Parrish Medical Center along with other hospitalized pediatric patients. That partnership will include follow-up care for patients by the specialists.
