The City of Titusville invites its water customers to exchange their old (pre-1994) showerheads for new low-flow showerheads. The City offers its water customers free massaging showerheads that have multiple flow settings (from fine to coarse) and only use 2.0 gallons of water per minute (gpm).

Showerheads manufactured before 1994 can use up to 5 gpm of water. Showerheads manufactured after 1994 use 2.5 gpm or less. Using one of our new low-flow showerheads allows you to enjoy your shower, while saving water!

Exchange Your Showerhead

High-volume showerheads may be exchanged at the Mourning Dove Water Treatment Plant, 2836 Garden Street, in Titusville. Exchanges may be made Monday through Friday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. City of Titusville water customers may exchange up to four showerheads per household. Multi-family or commercial accounts, such as apartments or motels that wish to exchange more than 12 showerheads should contact the Conservation Office to confirm an adequate supply is available.

You must bring in your old showerhead in order to receive a new one.
