Titusville Police Detectives are searching for a man suspected in the attempted armed robbery and aggravated battery of the store clerk at the Dollar Tree, located at 621 Cheney Highway, which occurred on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at approximately 5:15 PM.

The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect, described as a black male, in his 20’s, approximately 5’ 10” with shoulder length dread style brown hair, wearing a face covering, entered the store, followed the clerk into the business office and demanded the clerk open the safe at gun point.

The suspect then fired a bullet into the floor, struck the clerk with the handgun and fled the scene in a white sedan south on Sisson Road.

The store clerk was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There were no other injuries.

Detectives are working strong leads in this case.
