Right now, North Brevard doesn’t have a paper that’s really ours. Hometown News splits its pages with the beaches and other areas well outside our community, and Florida Today only shows up when something’s gone wrong. This paper is different — it’s for Titusville, Mims, and Scottsmoor, and nowhere else.

Titusville used to have that with the Star Advocate — something you could hold, pass along, and keep on the counter. We’re bringing that back: a real, physical paper that doesn’t depend on a social media feed to find you.

We’re just getting this started, and with the help of our community — and hopefully future business partners — we’re aiming to have the first issue printed and sitting in local businesses by November 1st.

Social media keeps getting louder and meaner by the day.
