The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-engine plane emergency landing that occurred on Thursday, November 6th, afternoon.

The plane, identified as a privately owned CompAir CA6.2, was reported as taking an emergency landing around 1:00 p.m.

The pilot, who was reportedly having engine trouble, made an emergency landing on SR 407 one mile south of I-95.

According to the Florida Department of Transportation, all lanes are closed on SR-407 from State Road 528 to I-95. The southbound I-95 exit at MM 212/SR-407 is also closed.

Brevard County Sheriff’s says the pilot landed the plane safely and is unharmed.
