An undercover police investigation into prostitution led to two arrests on drug and solicitation charges Wednesday afternoon, according to the Titusville Police Department.
The operation resulted in the seizure of over eight grams of the synthetic opioid fentanyl.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at approximately 4:20 p.m. In a press release, police officials stated that the investigation began when James Saunders solicited sex from a male undercover detective.
According to the report, Saunders then proceeded to purchase fentanyl from a second individual, Calease Jordan, in the detective’s presence near the 700 block of Deleon Avenue.


Detectives moved in and arrested both suspects. Upon her arrest, police say they seized 8.6 grams of fentanyl from Jordan.
The two Titusville residents face the following charges:
- James Saunders, 36, of Palmetto Street, was charged with one count of Solicitation of Prostitution and one count of Sale of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl).
- Calease Jordan, 53, was charged with one count of Trafficking Fentanyl (4 grams or more).
Both Saunders and Jordan were transported to the Brevard County Detention Center. Saunders is being held on a $25,500 bond, while Jordan’s bond is set at $150,000.
“This case highlights the critical importance of our Special Investigations Section and their ability to protect the public,” said Major Jeremy Gonzalez in the official statement. “Our detectives put a priority on drug related crimes as fentanyl is one of the deadliest drugs plaquing our community.”
