Titusville Police arrested three suspects, including two juveniles, after they stole cash, paychecks, and tax documents from the Gold Lion Bar on Wednesday, Jan. 30.

According to the Titusville Police Department, officers responded to multiple 911 calls at approximately 12:50 p.m. after the suspects jumped the counter at the bar, located at 4580 Coquina St.

The juveniles took money bags containing a large amount of cash, employee paychecks, and W-2 tax forms. The suspects then fled the scene in a gold-colored sedan.

Several witnesses provided descriptions of both the suspects and the getaway vehicle. Within minutes, officers located the car turning northbound onto Deleon Avenue and later stopping at 1060 Pine Valley Ln., where the suspects were detained and identified by witnesses.

Police secured the residence and obtained a search warrant, leading to the recovery of all stolen items, including the cash, paychecks, and W-2 forms. Officers also discovered a firearm and ammunition at the location.

Detective Christopher Wood credited quick action by officers and alert witnesses for the rapid arrests.

“Recovering the paychecks and the personal tax info on the employees prevented any possible identity theft issues down the road,” Wood said.

Titusville Police continue their investigation, but authorities have confirmed that all stolen property has been returned.
