The U.S. Small Business Administration is opening a Disaster Loan Outreach Center here Thursday, Nov. 13, to provide assistance to local residents and businesses recovering from the severe storms and flooding that affected the area on Oct. 26.
Low-Interest Loans Available
The SBA offers low-interest disaster loans for homeowners, renters, nonprofit organizations, and businesses impacted by the flooding in Brevard County.

These loans are specifically designed to cover repair, rebuilding, and recovery costs that are not fully covered by existing insurance. The disaster declaration covers Brevard and five adjacent counties.
Homeowners may be eligible to borrow up to $500,000 to repair or replace their primary residence, while renters and homeowners can apply for up to $100,000 to replace or repair personal property. Businesses and private nonprofits can borrow up to $2 million for physical damage repair and replacement.
Titusville Outreach Center Details
SBA representatives will be available to answer questions, explain the application process, and help applicants complete forms in person at the new center, located at the Titusville Public Library, 2121 S. Hopkins Ave. The center’s hours of operation are:
- Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (the center is closed Sunday)
- Center will Permanently closing Thursday, December 4th @ 4:00pm
How to Apply for Assistance
In addition to visiting the outreach center, individuals and organizations can apply for the loans in the following ways:

- By phone at 800-659-2955. The call center operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The deadline to apply for physical damage loans is Jan. 6. An August deadline applies to those seeking relief for economic damage.
