The YMCA of Central Florida will operate the remodeled Parrish Health & Fitness Center on Cheney Highway after entering a new partnership with Parrish Healthcare, the organizations announced Tuesday.

The facility, which Parrish Healthcare will continue to own, is expected to reopen in early 2026 at its 2210 Cheney Highway location. The collaboration unites two well-known community organizations focused on improving health and quality of life in Brevard County.

New Location, Expanded Offerings
The new location will be included with current YMCA memberships and will expand fitness options for members. The center will feature modern workout equipment, athletic training, and a variety of group exercise classes.

“This partnership brings together two trusted community organizations dedicated to promoting health, wellness and quality of life across Brevard County,” said Sergio Salazar, Executive Director of the Titusville YMCA.

The YMCA’s programs will complement Parrish Healthcare’s existing rehabilitation and laboratory services, which are already located within the same facility.

Facility Renovations Underway
Renovations are currently ongoing at the center. The revised layout will include an expanded open-concept workout area and renovated group exercise classrooms.

The facility will also feature a modernized conference room available for community use. Officials are planning for the reopening of the indoor pool in 2027.
