A jury convicted a New York man on 24 felony charges, including lewd or lascivious battery, after he was found to have filmed sexual acts with a 13-year-old runaway in Titusville.

The Brevard County jury found Devin White, 41, of the Bronx, New York, guilty of all counts on Oct. 14. White was found guilty of one count of lewd or lascivious battery, and 22 felony charges stemming from 11 phone videos of the sexual conduct. He was also convicted of one count of possession of methamphetamine.

White’s arrest occurred on May 13, 2025, after the Titusville Police Department responded to an emergency call about an argument between him and the girl near his rented silver Dodge Charger at a gas station. Officers found a sex toy and other evidence of a sexual encounter inside the vehicle.

The girl told police that White had picked her up on a beach near Hollywood, Florida, and offered to drive her to Kissimmee. She also stated that White had given her MDMA (ecstasy or Molly), which officers later found more of in the car.

A warranted search of White’s mobile phone later revealed the 11 videos that led to the child pornography and promotion charges.

Following his arrest, White was charged in a separate case with witness tampering after he attempted to influence a witness from the Brevard County Jail.

Assistant State Attorney Sara Flenniken praised the verdict. “Mr. White preyed upon a vulnerable child and continuously attempted to interfere with and circumvent the judicial process in the months leading up to trial,” Flenniken said. “I’m grateful that the jury recognized that and held him accountable for his actions.”

White faces a potential sentence of life in prison. Circuit Judge Kathryn Speicher has scheduled a pre-sentencing hearing for Nov. 6.

My name is Addison Andrews, and I am the victim in this case. Knowing that the person who hurt me has finally been caught and sentenced brings a deep, emotional relief, not happiness, but a fragile sense of peace that I’ve been longing for. It doesn’t erase the pain or the memories, but it helps me breathe again. There was a time when I was so depressed and confused that I ran away from home, just trying to escape everything I was feeling. While I was in Hollywood Beach, he saw me, approached me, and took me all the way to Titusville. I was terrified and didn’t know if I would ever be found or safe again. But thanks to a 911 call, the police were able to find me and rescue me before things got even worse. I will never forget that moment, the relief of knowing someone called police and the officers who made sure I was protected. I am so deeply grateful to the Titusville Police Department for their kindness, determination, and compassion throughout this nightmare. I will carry the scars of what happened forever, but their actions gave me hope when I thought all hope was gone. Thank you so much for standing by me, believing in me, and helping me find safety and strength again.
