Titusville City Manager Scott Larese has announced his retirement effective today, January 31, 2025. Larese, originally from Columbus, GA, was hired as the City Manager in 2014.

Councilmember Sarah Stoeckel posted about the announcement on Facebook, saying that per his contract, he is required to remain for 60 days. She says that “he is committed to staying on until we find someone to replace him to ensure a smooth transition.”

This will ensure a seamless transition and continued leadership for the city during the search process.

The City Council will be working closely to identify a qualified candidate to take on the role and continue supporting the community’s growth and development

We appreciate the City Manager’s dedication and service to Titusville over the years.

  1. While Mr. Larese has done some good things for the city, his silent shenanigans have made the public distrust him as City Manager. Finding a new city manager gives us a chance to really make some progress in defining the direction we want the town of Titusville to head–economic development while keeping that small town feel and not screwing up our Gateway to Nature!

  3. This is excellent news. It would be wonderful if we could have a City Manager that cared about the residents and was not completely interested in helping his developer pals destroy our environment.
