Relativity Space says the two last-minute aborts were caused by a violation of launch commit criteria, triggering an automated abort mechanism that halted the ignition of the rocket's nine Aeon 1 engines.
Weather is looking good for Relativity Space' second attempt at launching its 3D printed Terran 1 rocket into orbit on its first-ever flight. The new launch window opens on March 11th from 1-4pm ET at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
“Everything that needs to fly with that rocket right now is on that rocket,” said Patrick Svatek, Relativity’s Cape operations and launch site director.
