The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today the addition of several Florida counties to the disaster declaration for Hurricane Ian that began Sept. 23, enabling more Florida businesses and residents to be eligible to apply for SBA’s low-interest disaster loan program.

Brevard County will open 3 shelters at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, for residents who live in flood prone or low lying areas needing safe harbor from potentially dangerous wind and water conditions anticipated from Hurricane Ian.
Open for distribution beginning Sunday, September 25th, through Monday, September 26th from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (or until supplies last).
