The off-leash dog park at Marina Park will temporarily close beginning Monday, Dec. 1, for necessary turf maintenance, Brevard County Parks and Recreation officials announced.

The three-week closure allows for the reseeding and grow-in of grass within the dog park’s boundaries to promote better turf coverage. Officials expect the popular facility, located at 501 Marina Road, to reopen on Saturday, Dec. 20.

All other portions of Marina Park will remain open to the public during the maintenance period.
