On May 13, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Titusville Police Department officers responded to a verbal disturbance in the 3400 block of Garden Street. Upon arrival, patrol officers encountered an adult male and a juvenile female.

The juvenile was identified as a runaway reported missing from South Florida. The adult male was identified as Devin White, 41, of New York.

According to police, a swift and thorough investigation by both patrol officers and the Criminal Investigations Division revealed that White had picked up the runaway juvenile on a South Florida beach and transported her to Titusville.

While in Titusville, White allegedly engaged in sexual acts with the minor. A subsequent search of White’s vehicle and cell phone reportedly uncovered further evidence of these offenses.

Devin White was arrested and is facing the following charges:
– Lewd and Lascivious Battery (1 count)
– Sexual Performance by a Child (11 counts)
– Possession of Child Pornography (11 counts)
– Possession of MDMA (1 count)
– Possession of a Controlled Substance while in Physical Control of a Motor Vehicle (1 count)
– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (1 count)

White is currently being held at the Brevard County Detention Center with no bond.

Detective Sergeant Bryan Nelson praised the efforts of the officers involved, stating, “This case highlights the critical importance of our officers’ instincts and attention to detail. Thanks to the vigilance of our initial responding officers and the thorough investigation that followed, we were able to identify a juvenile in danger and bring serious charges against the suspect. Protecting vulnerable victims and holding offenders accountable remains one of our highest priorities.”
