A tragic accident took place on Saturday, May 13, 2023, when a bicyclist was fatally struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Garden Street and Interstate 95 in Titusville, Florida.

According to Titusville Police, they received a report of a traffic collision involving injuries at approximately 9:20 PM.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a severe accident between a motorized bicycle and a 2014 white Infiniti QX80 SUV.

The preliminary investigation reveals that the adult male bicyclist was attempting to cross the northbound Interstate 95 entrance ramp on his Swagtron bicycle.

Unfortunately, he did not yield to oncoming traffic and was struck by the SUV, driven by 42-year-old Aris J. Ramia Ramos of Titusville.

Emergency services swiftly transported the victim to a local hospital, where despite the best efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced dead at 10:05 PM.

Thankfully, there were no other injuries reported in this incident.
