Brevard County Sheriff’s responded to a crash early Sunday morning near Dairy Rd and US1, after an intoxicated wrong-way driver crashed, injuring multiple people.

According to a crash report, Brian Keith Holifield, 47, from Leaksville, Mississippi, was driving northbound in the southbound lane of US1 around 3:20am Sunday morning, when he struck a Mitsubishi Eclipse traveling southbound.
Holifield, driving a Toyota Sequoia with a female passenger, struck the front of the Eclipse, driven by a 20yr old male with a 18yr old female passenger, and came to rest in the median.
The 20yr old male driver, from Titusville, of the Eclipse was airlifted to Holmes Regional Hospital with serious injuries. The 18yr old female passenger, from Titusville, was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

Holifield was transported to Parrish Medical Center with minor injuries. The female passenger was transported to Halifax Medical Center with serious injuries.

Holifield arrested on three felony charges for DUI with serious bodily injury, DUI with property damage/personal injury, DUI Alcohol and Driving in the wrong side of the roadway. He has a $76,000 bond and currently at the Brevard County Jail
In a crash report by the Florida Highway Patrol, Brian Keith Holifield, 47, had a blood alcohol level of 0.169. The legal limit is .08 in Florida
The crash remains under investigation
